Learn moreThe organic pregnancy oils
Brand new in the range: our organic pregnancy oils (certified organic cosmetics). As a mother of two kids, our Liza knows this very special time in life very well. The idea of the current products first arose during her first pregnancy because she couldn't tolerate anything with her sensitive skin and ended up making her own care products for herself. Now these “miracle weapons” from Liza are also available for other expectant mothers. Of course, we also know how stressful pregnancy can be. With our new organic cosmetic oils we would like to do a small part to make you feel good during this time. It is just as important to us as it is to you that your body only comes into contact with high-quality things during pregnancy. That's why we have certified our pregnancy oils organic. For even more safety and quality for you and your child. Here, too, we of course work with cold-pressed organic oils that are not heated above 40°C throughout the entire process. This means that all vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids are still contained in the oil. These valuable oils nourish the skin and keep it supple. All three pregnancy oils have been tested and approved by external certification bodies. We work with the independent natural and organic cosmetics standard NATRUE. Strict rules are applied to products here in order to define exactly what organic cosmetics means. During Liza's pregnancies there were different areas of application for which she used different oil mixtures. Since we wanted to keep the effect and use of the raw materials exactly in the composition, three different organic pregnancy oils were created. ORGANIC PREGNANCY OIL SEA BACKTHORN / ALMOND OIL intensively nourishes the skin and can prevent stretch marks helps with nausea (the scent of blood orange can help) Scent: Fruity, fresh orange scent with a sea buckthorn note Straight to the pregnancy oil ORGANIC PREGNANCY OIL LAVENDER / HEMP calms inner restlessness and provides security Hemp helps the skin to regenerate and rebuild itself Scent: Warm summer evening in Provence, lavender with earthy hemp tone Straight to the pregnancy oil ORGANIC PREGNANCY OIL ARNICA Helps with painful skin and joints Promotes blood circulation and can thus counteract venous weakness Scent: Fresh, slightly fruity lemons with warm vanilla - reminiscent of coconut Straight to the pregnancy oil You can of course also test our organic pregnancy oils here for free. We very much hope that we can play a small part in making you feel comfortable during your pregnancy.
Learn moreWe do everything ourselves
When we turn on the lights and put on our production clothes in the morning, it's almost like meditation. It's a great feeling to create something. Right from the start. You can literally feel the naturalness of the raw materials and individual components. Preparing and weighing the ingredients according to the recipe and setting up the machines is an almost contemplative process. And during processing, to see how something completely new and even more valuable is created from individual raw materials. That fills us with pride. Yes, why do we do everything ourselves. Because we are proud of it. Because we can place exactly the values and demands on the end product that we want. Because we have control over the entire process and because we enjoy it. We work on new ideas and are flexible in our processing. When we have a new idea, we implement it in our own development laboratory. We first test whether it feels good on the skin before we sit down at the desk and calculate whether it actually makes sense. If we are enthusiastic about an experiment, we continue in-house. As a team, we find a pack size that makes sense and we let our imaginations run wild when it comes to marketing. Labels, outer packaging and everything else are created. At the same time as this process, product samples go through dermatological testing, safety assessments and testing as well as NaTrue certification. This part of the process is outsourced to external partners due to legal regulations. If we have an official “go”, we will go into production. Another new morning that fills us with pride. We love our products and hope that this attention to detail will make your day a little more beautiful.
Learn moreCertified natural cosmetics
NaTrue is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to promote and protect natural and organic cosmetics worldwide. Cosmetics manufacturing companies can be certified by NaTrue. This certification is a holistic process in which the products that are to bear the NaTrue label and the entire company are subject to an audit. For example, it is not possible to have only 1 product certified. At least 75% of a brand's products must be NaTrue certified for the individual product to bear the seal. Basically, all NaTrue certified products are: free from genetic modification free of silicones free of artificial colors free of parabolas free of microplastics free from synthetic fragrances free of mineral oil Cruelty-free (also legally according to the Cosmetic Products Regulation (Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009)) There are also special requirements for the raw materials that may be used. The focus of NaTrue certified products is on the use of natural and untreated raw materials. Only certain processes may be used when processing raw materials in order to leave the raw material natural. For example, synthetic substances that do not occur in nature are generally prohibited. There is a list of approved synthetically produced raw materials, but it is limited to pigments (coloring particles), minerals and preservatives. These substances cannot be produced naturally with sufficient purity or serve to protect consumers. NaTrue values and ethics prohibit animal testing. This goes hand in hand with the legal regulation in the Cosmetic Products Regulation (Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009). Attention is also paid to the sustainability of products. Cosmetic packaging should be offered in packaging sizes that allow for multiple use (except for product samples) and the packaging as a whole should be reduced to a minimum. Where possible, reusable materials should be used, for example glass and recyclable plastic (PET).
Learn morePoppy seed oil
When used cosmetically, poppy seed oil is an all-rounder for sensitive, dry skin and skin prone to irritation. The fatty acids linoleic acid and 8.85% palmitic acid, which are strongly represented at 72.94%, strengthen the skin's external protective barrier by helping to regulate the water balance. This means they form a light protective film on the skin, which reduces transepidermal water loss. This means the skin remains tightened and at the same time protected from external influences. Despite forming a protective film, poppy seed oil does not have a clogging (comedogenic) effect on the pores. On the contrary, the oil has a gentle, non-irritating and regenerating effect. The linoleic acid also activates the skin's own natural anti-inflammatory processes and thus soothes irritated skin. The oil is quickly absorbed and leaves you feeling wonderfully nourished and gentle.
Learn moreTransition phase of the skin
When testing new care products, especially natural cosmetics, in some cases an “initial deterioration” can occur. This refers to skin irritations such as dryness and impurities. Why is that? The skin is our body's barrier, but it is also a working organ. Just like we eat carrots for our eyes or fiber for our digestion, the skin also needs to be well nourished. Unfortunately, common care products are exactly the opposite of nutritious. Here, long shelf life, great smell and simple production usually take precedence over the “nutrition” of our skin. Lifeless oils are used that the skin cannot do anything with. But why does my skin react to natural cosmetics? By using lifeless, perhaps even occlusive oils in care products, the skin forgets how to do its job. It is nourished by the inside of the body, but cannot breathe freely and, so to speak, “forgets” its area of responsibility. When living oil is applied to the skin, in some cases it is a bit “taken by surprise” and has to figuratively “get off the couch”. Therefore she sometimes reacts “annoyed”. But you also know that once you peel yourself out of the sofa, put on your running shoes and go out in the forest or park, then you feel great. Well, the same goes for our skin. How long do I have to endure this? Depending on how much and how long the skin has not been properly nourished, the whole thing can take up to an entire cycle of renewal of the skin layers. Yes, in some cases it can be up to 4 weeks. But be sure it's worth it. And the great thing is, once you've gotten through it, nothing stands between you and radiant skin. However, if pustules form over a long period of time, the skin burns, redness no longer disappears and constant itching occurs, this may indicate an allergic reaction. So if you are prone to allergies, take a close look at the ingredients of the product and test it on a small area before buying. If everything is fine here, then you can get started across the board.
Learn morePumpkin seed oil
The first historical evidence of pumpkins was in South America. The plant then made its way to Europe and all over the world through trade with ships. The shell and also the kernels were already used back then. Pumpkin seed oil is obtained by pressing the seeds found in the pumpkin. The secondary plant substance polyphenol contained in pumpkin seed oil is the solution for aging, stressed and physically stressed skin. On the one hand, it serves as an antioxidant protective shield against internal and external free radicals. This makes the skin more durable and the fragile skin flora is maintained through the antimicrobial effect. On the other hand, polyphenols protect elastin and collagen fibers from premature breakdown and thus tighten the tissue. With a very high palmitic acid content of approx. 12.85%, it intensively smoothes the skin and penetrates deep into the skin layers. This fatty acid is a natural component of the upper layer of skin and therefore the skin can regenerate itself and replenish its lipid depots. Additional antioxidants, including vitamin E with a value of up to 12.5mg/100g, improve blood circulation and ensure a fresh, rosy complexion that lasts all day. Oily skin, which is often prone to impurities, pimples and inflammation, is soothed and mattified by the zinc naturally contained in pumpkin seed oil. This oil is perfect for the intensive care of stressed, stressed and mature skin.
